Obviously Mcdonalds does not need business. Firstly my 13 year old son was called and informed that he had to be at Mcdonalds Goodwood branch for a television draw. We arrived before the time and I was buying my children a meal and there was a child who looked like he was homeless standing at the counter with his R5 in his hand and asking for chips which cost R5 he was told to leave the store. I told them he was with me and he would not be leaving the store and proceeded to purchase him a meal. Anyway the competition draw was at 14h00 and Ronald Mcdonald drew the first ticket the person was not present and the manager said going, going gone. A second ticket was drawn and the same thing going going gone. So the obviously faulted as they were not present. There were three more people left on the floor who were called. As they were about to draw the third ticket the manager said to a girl that walked in the shop are you so and so and she said yes and she says well you are a winner. When questioned the manager said you did not have to be present so why draw another name. I feel that one of the three present should have one the television. I find the whole situation disgusting.
