I just wanted to say what a terrible experience Mother's Day breakfast was at the Mokha Restaurant and function venue yesterday.
We arrived at 8:30 (apparently they start serving breakfast at 7:30), the breakfast was in the form of a buffet and when we arrived half of the menu was not put out.
The section that was, were cold (it was on serving platters with no heat source) with no-one servicing them.
We ordered tea and coffee with cold milk only to be told that they only have hot milk and no cold milk (!) my husband ordered orange juice only to be told that the juice delivery had not arrived. The toast that was put out was cold as well.
All through the meal tables were being set for lunch - which I completely understand. But if you don't want to "waste" time with breakfast patrons do not advertise that you serve breakfast!
We took my mother-in-law there for a special treat and frankly the food and service was so terrible I will not return again. We ended up apologizing over and over to her for the lack of service, hot food and quality.
My husband phoned them this morning to complain and it does not sound as if they took his complaint serious at all.
