I took my wife out for breakfast as a start to spoiling her on her birthday. We chose Timeless Cafe. We each ordered coffee and a breakfast which looked interesting which had ciabatta, cheese, ham, rocket and poached eggs. When our coffee arrived, we only received hot milk (my wife wanted cold milk). She didn't complain. When our breakfast arrived, it had lettuce on it (instead of rocket) and my wife's poached egg was the size of a half an egg and rock hard. Mine was normal sized and perfect consistency. IT was a pricey breakfast and we assumed it was because of the rocket component. I asked the waitress to please organise another egg. At this point, the manageress / owner (not sure) came over and asked what was wrong. When pointing out the rocket, she said they couldn't find rocket that morning and apologised. After breakfast, I realised they had billed us for an extra egg and upon asking about this, the manager pulled me one side and asked what was wrong. Irritated I said I was not happy with the service and then she started with her attitude. There was no effort to make us feel better. She was downright insulting and we'll never go back there again.
