On Tuesday, 30th April 2013 my family and I went to Abenaki Spur recieved great service from the waiter and the chef. I bank with Capitec bank and my card was tried to debit twice and on the first attempt the cashier says she received an error message the same with the second time. BUT the first attempt of debit went off my bank account. The cashier was persistant in front of a group of clients that I should then pay cash no problem I went to the ATM and draw the money. Well, it will take 48 hours for the money to be returned back to my account for she made a note that it needs to be returned. Just to discover that today 72 hours later that I paid R 1507.40 for a meal that should have cost my R 753.70 and now I need to wait 10/14 days for my bank to retract the money from SPUR after sending them a notice. Which should have been prevented. Now, what now, since when does a meal for five persons cost R 1500.00. My cost of living is so high and its a once a month treat.
