Off line pay point

I had a greet lunch with a friend of mine whom I haven't seen for a very long time, when it came to paying the bill I used my bank card to pay using their speed point and it didn't want to connect. We went to the front desk to try another machine still didn't go through, it was tried for the third time and a notification came through my fone that the money was paid but they told me on their system the amount did not go through. I had to wait 15min for them to swipe my card 3 times with no success. Then I was told by the lady at the front desk that it usually happens and I have to go to the bank and withdraw some money to pay followed by the waitress like some. I was also told that the money will be returned to me after 7days. What disappoints me more is that I was at Big Bear spur last Friday used the same card and it went through, I don't keep cash in my pocket because I use the card to pay everytime I buy something and today I don't know what happened. If Mountain Spring Spur is aware of the problem why don't they take care of it. I'm a great fan of Spur but today I was disappointed.
