I applied for a student loan at Nedbank, Northgate branch on the 8th of March. Almost two months later and still ZERO response.
In the interim, I have provided all sorts of extra documentation not originally required by the forms, emailed the consultant and branch manager for feedback all for a relatively small loan of R16000.
The university will be needing payment within two weeks. I have already had to make alternative arrangements in order to pay the initial fees - when will Nedbank get back to me? By the time I no longer need the loan, it seems.
It's also worth a mention that I went to Nedbank after pathetic service from Standard Bank. It seems that my choice of bank has made absolutely no difference.
