My student loan is overdrawn?

I have been a client at Nedbank for seven years and have a savings account, student loan and credit card. There have been several incidents with Nedbank over the last year where the call centre has phoned demanding extra money be paid on my student loan instalment (for a reason they could not explain), despite the branch telling me otherwise.
I have religiously paid the instalments on both the loan and credit card, only to have my card DECLINED and Nedbank demanding payment of the FULL AMOUNT left on my loan in the next TEN DAYS. I contacted the lawyers that Nedbank so kindly turned me over to and sent through my budget showing that I cannot possibly pay such a large amount in the given time. I have received no response. The kind people at the call centre tell me my student loan account is overdrawn. Since when can a student loan be overdrawn?
I will continue to pay my instalment on the loan but I have kept a record of every payment made and will be going into the branch tomorrow to cancel the card and terminate my account with Nedbank.
