Electronic banking disservices- Moving Backwards!!

I am a standard bank client since 2000 using achiever electronic current account now. I recently needed airtime it was an emergency. Standard Bank advertises alot on the efficiency &convenience of cellphone banking thus I decided to make use of that so I could buy airtime from my cellphone this wasn't the case as it didn't happen so I kept getting blocked from doing so saying that I must go to a branch to sort out the problem. Then I decided to go to the shops to buy airtime as by that time my nearest branch was closed. I made some purchases at a major retail store paid with my cheque card with no problem but forgot to buy the airtime so I went to another retail store to buy airtime &I tried to pay for it with my card it kept saying declined! I asked the cashier to try on another card machine but got the same result I complained to the manager that his card machine was faulty to which he told me it wasn't I had more than enough funds in my account to pay for that but it was declined. It was embarrassing, frustrating & upsetting. I can't rely on this bank in an emergency &that to use my own funds! I had experienced inconvenience, inefficiency &couldnt use my money when I needed most
