I tried to withdraw money this morning, and the bank tells me I have insufficient funds. Tried AGAIN, and the same story repeatedly. So, I tried to pay with my card at the shop where I ordered coffee and food and AGAIN it said I have insufficient funds, although I KNOW I have money in my account.
Distressed I called the call centre, after holding almost 10 minutes, my airtime was finished by the time I talked to the consultant, and then she told me she can't call me back. I reloaded airtime through my cellphone banking app, it worked, and called again. This time another lady told me that I have funds available and that she can see no problem!!!
I'm finished with Standard Bank, and will be moving to FNB at earliest convenience if this is the type of service that I can expect from the bank I've been with for almost 10 years!!!
