ATM ON MY HUSBAND BANK CARD

On the 27 February 2013 my Mr Anil B. Maharaj used his Nedbank card to pay his electricity and water account @ Pick n" Pay cloting in Ladysmith KZN. He did not check but the cashier did not return his card, since it was very busy he thought that the card was with the till slip. On the 02 & 03 March 2013 monies to the sum of R2300 was drawn out of his account. But at this time his notify me option was also not activated so he only found out about this withdrawal on Monday 04/03/13. At which time he stopped his card, applied for a new card and opened a case of with the SAP. Its now a month later and the bank has not contacted him or refunded his money and the SAP has not given any details regarding the case.

How long does it take for the bank to refund the money that was from his bank account?
