After several, very tolerant and patient, interactions with the liaison staff at the ABSA, Southdowns Branch in Centurion - my tolerance ceiling has now been reached and I would like this problem resolved today!
My Mom opened an ActiveSave account several months ago and after providing my email address on several occasions, checking the email indicator on their computer systems and even confirming with the IT department that all the required fields were entered correctly etc., I am still waiting for the first automatically generated email statement.
We honestly regret having opened this account with ABSA.
