ABSA STILL NOT ABLE TO SET UP ELECTRONIC STATEMENT

Extract from ABSA: "Dear Sir/Madam,
Thank you for your email regarding your eStatement. Kinldy note you Cheque account is set to receive eStatements but not generate them as the statement required is set to never.
To resolve this you will need to please visit your local Absa branch and ask them to change the statement frequency. If you require any other assistance, please e-mail us on [Email Removed] Regards" This is the response I get after numerous complaints, 2 visits to the branch, an actual call from the branchmanager to say that the problem is sorted (clearly not) and now I have to go back again? All this runaround over 3 months to just get my statement emailed to me? Oh no ABSA... I don't think so. And if the best your actionline agent can do is refer me to the branch then perhaps ABSA should look look into decentralising as the agent obviously has no authority to actually help me. Please I am begging you ABSA - just sort out my problem. Can it really be that hard to select "receive eStatements"? Must I go into the branch (AGAIN) because your staff could not get it right the very FIRST time (or 2nd or wait... 3rd time?)
