Statement for January in English? Impossible!

I wasted an hour at the ABSA Canal Walk branch today just for a 3 month statement. The reason I didn't use the self-service/internet banking, is because I need the statement for a UK visa application, and therefore in English (currently my statements are generated in Afrikaans). I told the consultant helping me that I don't mind paying the fee for an extra month, and still she could only generate two months. She then sent me to the internet banking station, nope, statement still in Afrikaans. Then more time was wasted by the admin lady trying to get a statement, only to tell me that because January is archived, there is no way the statement can be changed to English. I can't understand why there is no way in the world that a statement for January can not be generated in another language. Absolutely disgusting service and an hour I will never get back.
