My name is Gloria Tshabalala and my husband works for FNB, we recently applied for Home Loan and he decline reason were identified as a bad conduct by my Credit Card by Edcon underwritten by STD bank, I know for the fact that there was never a month where I missed a payment, me and my husband rushed to to STD bank where they only gave us a 6 months bank statement that reflected that the balance due is due to us, that was never sufficient for the Credit Analyst from their department.
There are few unpaids by Old Mutual life Cover which were as a result of their mistake, the letter by Old Mutual was supplied explaining everything to them as well but it didn't mean a thing to them, they overruled everything and stacked to their decline reason, as experts I expected them to realize that exceeding on overdraft were caused by unauthorized debits by Old Mutual which were willing to come and testify.
My husband is a staff member and it came as a shock after 6 months waiting to settle everything, he was advised that should we motivate further it may be approved at 75%. This property wasn't gonna be a luxury but a requirement for our disable kid, may bless him.
