Laid a complaint through online banking over a week ago. Got a call that my complaint has been escalated. Have not received feedback since. The complaint is as follows:
I recently switched from ABSA to FNB. My finances are all well in order. I have zero missed payments. Always pay on time (in fact even before the time). Applied for a credit card with FNB and they rejected. This makes absolutely zero sense. I had a R56000 credit limit on my ABSA credit card. FNB has zero reason to decline me a credit card.
I will be forced to switch back to ABSA if I don't get any real feedback on this soon. I think I am being very reasonable here. FNB may be convenient and deliver to my door but if they have nothing to deliver I have no reason to bank with them.
