I have the very same problem as Zaithoon (Who was Using Nedbank) but im using ABSA Bank. On Saturday the 16th of March 2013, I got an SMS informing me that an amount of R1000 has been debited to FNB. I phoned ABSA and they also suggested i phone FNB, FNB told me the company (FIST DIRECT, which I have no connection with) is closed on weekend and i can only reach them on weekdays. I phoned them today and the number takes me to FNB and when i phone FNB the second time, they give me a different number which is also an FNB number.
I eed to know who authorised FNB or the company to use my account. I would appreciate a writen report on this issue from both banks.
