On the 31/10/13 i received an sms on my phone, that R1000.00 had been deducted from my account in the evening, the money was deducted from an ATM.This transaction was so i immediately phoned the helpline and stopped the card. I reported the matter to ABSA, on 01/11/13, and they said that they will call me in 48 hours, to notify me of any progress. Today on the 04, 11/13 i went to ABSA again, and they gave me a reference number 2595211.It was captured by Tola, sibongile. ABSA.My concern is, this that has happened, whereby R1000 was deducted from my account... I was informed that the ATM, whereby the 1000 was deducted was a standard bank ATM.My information was from an ABSA atm machine i suspect..my concern is that ABSA must refund me the money, as it is not my fault if their ATMS are not secure for us to use. May ABSA please respond quickly to my query please, as i have a child and wife to feed, and refund me my money. Next time i want t o withdraw money, i will go direct into the bank, rather than use an ATM, cause now i am scared, my details will be duplicated, when i use my card by the machine.
