Won't refund my money

A little over a month ago I went to an atm and tried to withdraw money and before even entering my pin pin the atm said it could'nt take out the money, as I'm a capitec client and my cousin works for the bank I immediately called her and she told me to stay by the atm but I had already moved she then told me to go the branch where she called the customer care to report the incident, they asked a few questions and then said they would get back to me. When they got back to me they told me that they wouldn't refund my money and that it was not their fault. I don't understand what it hasd o do with it being their fault as I've been a loyal client for years and I expected to be treated like any other client in that case, I honestly believe that I was not refunded due to the fact that my cousin works there and maybe they think we were up to no good but I lost a considerable amount of money and I just don't find their response to it sufficient enough and that the so called investigation they conducted wasn't even up to par. Capitec is good for the cheap fees and all but they really don't consider their clients with their decisions at times. This is really unfair.
