Bank refusing to refund money

On the morning of 5 April 2013, I woke up to find that a total R6000 had been withdrawn from my account. R3000 was taken at 23:47 and another R3000 at 00:02. I drove to work and called Capitec Bank to report the matter to their Department. They told me they would investigate and let me know. On the 9th of April, they called me to inform me that they will not refund my money because according to their knowledge, the new chip cards cannot be duplicated and on their side, they can see that my pin number was used. I am not satisfied with their service because how is it my fault that someone broke their system that they trust so much. I mean clearly, the chip cards can be duplicated, how else would this have happened? The bank's responsibility is to protect the customer's money and now i've lost R6000. Clearly my money is not safe at Capitec and they are not willing to help me get my money bank.
