Good morning,

I need to change my cellphone number on my internet banking profile to 0828092454 as my previous number has been discontinued. According to the bank policy, these changes need to be done at the nearest branch. Without these changes I cannot make any payments on my profile or add new beneficiaries.

I visited the Douglas branch yesterday with the hope to update these details - the only person responsible (whom has access to this functionality) is not at the branch. A lady whom recently started working at ABSA helped me as far as she could (a major plus to her) - this branch did not even have letter heads for confirmation of account information and printing had to be done on plain paper (not something that is expected from such a huge Bank).

To come back to my intial query - I visited the branch again this morning, the person is still not back - which means that I can still not use my internet banking for urgent payments which need to be made. Can't you arrange backup's for situations like this and also provide backup staff with same rights and roles on system?

I need this to be done today - even if it is by phone as ABSA is not able to do so according to policy.
