It all started when my debits started being deducted on earlier dates. I contact AB to notify them about this. They cannot debit my account if my salary has not been released yet. However my debits were always successful. Shortly thereafter I decided to use my credit card. My transactions were declined. I contacted AB to find out what the problem could be. They mentioned that I needed to send in my ID and a statement to have my account FICA'd. I asked the consultant why was this not communicated to myself. She apologised. I emailed my documentation as requested. Today I received an sms stating that my application to reactivate my credit card was declined.. I contacted them once again. The gentlemen told me that my documentation was not verified. Thereafter he transferred me to another guy who informed me that my account was in arrears for a month in May 2011. I asked him why almost 2 years down the line was I being informed that my account was in arrears. He's attitude was that he was informing me about it now. Why was this arrear amount never communicated to me or why was it not debited from my account. Why does this arrear amount not appear on my statement. I
