Mtn always debits late! I have two accounts and I have to transfer money into my cheque account as my salary does not get paid into this account. Once I reach a specific date I withdraw the money left over in that account for savings. I was not informed that mtn has not debited my account yet and it ofcourse bounced. Months went by and mtn stopped debiting my account because of this. NOT ONCE WAS I INFORMED. The only phone call I received was from a legal department. Why couldnt someone contact me sooner. When I asked customer services this the response was " you get statements". In instances like when the post office is on strike clients should be informed by telephone. When I found out I was in arrears I settled the account. Weeks later I received the statement to say my account was in arrears and they have now placed a default to my credit record.
