Unacceptable incompetence - FICA

My credit card was and I cancelled it. Before issuing me with a new card, Virgin requested my FICA documents vie email. I provided my lease agreement, which had expired, and an affidavit from my landlord confirming that the lease has been extended on the same terms. Virgin refused to acknowledge the affidavit and kept requesting a "new" lease agreement. After numerous emails and phone calls back and forth and slow responses, they sent me to the nearest ABSA branch to FICA me.By this stage I had stamped bank statements from Capitec confirming my address details (because Capitec was willing to FICA me based on the lease and the affidavit, as they should). However, ABSA was unable to FICA me and I phoned Virgin again - who told me to email the Capitec statements, which I did. I then receive ANOTHER email from Virgin sending me BACK to ABSA, saying they have to stamp my documents and post it to Virgin, citing FICA requirements even though this is not required by FICA and they were happy to receive documents via email two weeks before!
Furthermore, Virgin happily sent a courier to drop off my card and FICA me when I first got a credit card, but now they hardly lift a finger.
