My wife went into ABSA bank in Wynberg CapeTown to collect funds I had sent her. Inspite of having a profile, and all the relevant details, they refused to give her the funds, saying that her name must be the same as her ID book.
I changed her name at the western union offices, she went back, and they say they do not do buisness with Iraq???
What the??? This is disgusting, I hope that western union is going to leave ABSA. I have written to Western Union, explaining this stance from ABSA, I have also written to the Iraq government as I am working here, to tell them the same.
ABSA thanks for nothing!!
