HOME LOAN DOCUMENTS LEFT FOR 3 WEEKS AT BRANCH

My husband and myself went to Std Bank on the 25/01/2013, went inside to the home loan reception desk, were called within 5 min by Consultant 1. We had all the required documentation eg. id's, bank statements ready but she printed out forms that had to be completed and asked us to rather return it the 28th (Monday). Which we did, the bank stamped the envelope with all our personal documentation, completed forms for a 2nd bond that was addressed to Att: Bond Division". An sms will be sent from the bank to advise us on the status of the application. On the 5/2/2013 I phoned the 0860 123 001 number and were told by "Megan" that there was no application on the system but it takes 7-10 working days. After I phoned on the 13/02/2013 and got the same answer I decided to go to Std Festiva on the 18/2/2013l to see if the application was forwarded to the Bond Division. It took the bank about an hour only to discover that the envelope was still lying on an employee's table (for 3 weeks) who didn't knew she had to capture it. They gave the envelope with all the documentation back to me and told me to come into the bank with my husband so that they can do the application. Will you go back?
