After waiting months to have Nedbank upgrade my account so that they might finally supply me with a debit card that works overseas the card arrived but wouldn't work.
The printed instructions sent with the card were incorrect and last week, days after it arrived, Nedbank summarily cancelled the card without any consultation with me.
They did however promise to URGENTLY dispatch a new card saying that I should have my new card within a week.
Today is day five. International calls to the branch DRAW ZERO RESULTS.
The branch manager - Karen Lock refuses to take my calls. The person working with this is off and I'm stuck without access to my funds.
Nedbank Gardens service is SHOCKINGLY POOR. But it little surprise if the managers behaviour is the example by which she leads?
Spanish courier services require that one stay in for the day to take delivery of items - this will be the 2nd time I'll lose a day.
Emails too numerous to list, phone calls too expensive to tally and frustration, disappointment and anger is what I've gotten for using Nedbank as a bank.
My advice to anyone thinking of using them is - don't.
and... STAY WELL AWAY FROM GARDENS BRANCH!
