Hi, I Called Nebank Call Centre on the 22/01/2014 To let them know/check if all is in order for me to use my credit card Overseas as I was going away for a few days.
I was assured by the agent that all is in order and can use my card. To my Horror at the airport while waiting for my flight I tried using my card, it gave me a error "Restricted Access"
I called the centre as was the only department open, the lady said there has been a soft lock placed on my card and will be removed in the morning.(Email)
I arrived at my hotel only to find my card still not working which was Embaressing. I Called the call centre was on the line for 20 Minutes, each consultant telling me a different story and being transferred to a another person, this was a very costly call and frustrating especially using my Sim card Overseas.
It was the only card I had and had to checkout and cut my trip short due to NEDBANKS ERROR,
The thing that upsets me is I CALLED TO MAKE SURE ALL IS in order and was assured that it was.
Nedbank spoilt what should have been a memorable trip which turned into a Nightmare.
