Disappointment at very poor service

I needed to transfer a sum of money to my daughter in Dubai. I went to my bank on or around 5 February to arrange. I filled in forms and was told my daughter would have the money by Friday, 8 February. The following week I noticed that no money had been taken from my account. I contacted the bank and was told that this was because I had not supplied a physical address for my daughter. I immediately emailed the information to the bank.
I went on holiday for ten days and checked my statement on my return on 25 February. I had asked for an amount equivalent to AED 7450 to be sent to my daughter. To my dismay I found that the sum of R7 450 had been transferred on 14 February 2013, some nine days after my initial visit to the bank.
I phoned the bank on 26 February and was asked to come in to sign new forms (a round trip for me of 70 km) for the balance to be sent to my daughter. I was told that I should work out how much this would be. I went in immediately and signed new forms. I was told that the transfer would be done 'tomorrow, possibly still today". This morning, 4 March, the money has still not been taken out of my account.
Ask once? I don't think so.
