Dear Capitec Bank,
Having been a good bank to me for the past couple of years, I must say I am quiet disappointed with the service lately. On numerous occasions occasions, you have debited my account earlier in the month after having told you on numerous times that I get paid on the 27th. The result of this is both costly and gives a bad reflection on my banking profile with my primary bank because debit orders return unpaid. I have reached a point of major frustration where I even plan on closing my account with you.
The most recent case was last month (January 2013) where the 27th were on a Sunday and where salaries obviously fell to the 28th but you debited my account on Friday the 25th. This has caused problems for me as I am in a process of buying a house and the bad reflection caused by this move from Capitec means that I have to wait 3 months so that my bank can regain confidence in me.
I therefore request a letter from Capitec explaining this, so that I can take it to my bank for motivation.
Please take note of these kind of issues because they really cause problems for your clients in long term.
