I wanted to settle an account with real people but got angry when I saw the statement they emailed to me. My reason are if the company look at my payment profile I have being paying alright and even more at time to stay up to date with my payment. The outstanding balance was about R1656 which I am sure I paid but can't find or provide the proof. I am willing to settle the account but the balance that was given to me make me reconsider as I feel the company run the interest for a 22 months deliberately to generate interest. Since 04 November 2010 to January 2013 (22 months) the was communication from the company regarding this account just to remind or inform me if they was an outstanding balance. Also I truly don't understand why the is a life policy included in the account as I did query it before but nothing happened and why it doesn't lapse like all other policy when no payment is not received in three months.
