INTEREST ON ZERO ACCOUNT!!!

On 13/03/2013 we called RCS to get the full closing balance on the account and also to close the account, the call centre agent was very rude and doesn't have an idea what customer service is. I asked the guy to please give me the settlement on the account and also to close the account. He asked me in a very rude voice tone why do you want to close the account? I said to him that I don't want to tell him and that I just want the account to be closed after the full balance was paid. He then asked me again why I want to close the account and I said that it has got nothing to do with him why I want to close the account and that I do not need to explain why I want to do so. The balance was given to me and the balance was paid in full as on there systems. I sent the proof of payment to them showing that the account is paid up in full and also stated on the proof of payment to close the account A.S.A.P. On the 18/03/2013 we called to confirm if the account has been closed and if payment was received. The guy said that the account could not be closed due to an outstanding balance of R290.00 that's still outstanding. this is now interest that was charged 12/03/2013. THIS IS DAILY ROBERY!!!
