I was phoned constantly to open a cheque account with FNB, in the end I relented and agreed to do so, after being told how EASY it was. I sent through documentation FULLY filled in for switching my salary and debit orders on the 21/01/2013. Its now the 19/02 and my salary and debit orders have still not been changed. On speaking to the department I was told it still has not been done, as no account number supplied on form. I have the form in front of me FULLY filled in. Also told that its now to late for this month to do. FNB advertise that switching your bank account can be done over a few days, this is not the case and its false advertising. I then wanted the account closed - guess what you can open an account telephonically but not close one. BAD BAD service!!! ~!
