First National Bank
Debit Order Switching

I sent a debit order switching form on 11 September 2013 for my debit orders to be switched. I called to ask if hey received it and they said they did and they will keep me updated via sms as and when my salary and debit orders get switched. I did not hear anything from them for an entire month and in October i switched my salary myself. After waiting again, i called them on Monday 25 November 2013 (Over 2 months after sending the form) and i spoke to Tumisa, who told me nothing had been done on my instruction and that he would escalate it and i should expect a call in 24 to 48 hours but yet again, no contact from FNB. On Thursday 28 November 2013 at 14:30 I called again and spoke to Mfaniso who said nothing had been done on the account and that he would escalate to the team leader. There is just no end to the disappointment that is FNB. Its processing and they should stop this false advsertising as they do not switch salaries and deit orders. I am annoyed and thinking of moving back to Absa, at least their processing department does what it says it will do.
