I was going to switch all my accounts to Capitec, but after today, I definitely have second thoughts. I accessed a multi- loan, under the impression that it will only be repayable in 30 days time. To my horror I discovered that the total loan has to be repaid by the 23rd of Feb, which is not even my pay day... when you access the loan on cellphone banking there is no indication upfront on which date the loan will be payable. I called the call centre for help, and had the misfortune of speaking to the most unhelpful, rudest agent that I have ever dealt with. When I asked him for his name, he just transferred me to a call centre line, without disclosing his details to me. This DISGUSTING type of service is TOTALLY unacceptable. I no longer want the multi- loan, please reverse it and cancel it urgently, or I will have no choice but to complaint to the Banking Ombud, and the Consumer Protector.
