I have a multi loan facility in place with Capitec.
On the 23rd November I withdrew R2450 from my loan account, payable 24th December 2013.
As it was December, my salary was paid into my account on the 13th December 2013.
Capitec then debited the money from my account. On the same day (13th December 2013) I withdrew R2450 from my account.
I was under the impression that this would be payable end of January as this reflected on my internet statement.
Capitec advised that the money was due 24th December 2013 and proceeded to deduct this amount on the 24th December 2013, except that there were no funds in my account.
Currently it states that I have no active multi loan facility until I re-pay the amount owed.
Naturally this money will be deducted when my salary for January 2014 is deposited into my account.
I need to know what is my current financial status with Capitec as I feel I have been misled regarding my multi loan facility.
