I had to withdraw a large sum of money a few weeks ago from a Savings account, but due to the time period not being of maturity, I was unable to do do. So I was disappointed, but I had to accept the terms of my savings account. So I withdrew the required amount from my Cheque Account. This was fine but it meant I would have no money to get myself through the month. So in order to make sure I have money to get through the month I requested an Overdraft from the Bryanston FNB, of which I would pay the amount back with my Savings, once maturity period was due.
So my Overdraft was referred and I had to go to my Account Holder branch in Fourways. So I went to Four ways where I reapplied, they came back to me just to be rejected. So I've been asked to further sign a security declaration, which I understand takes up to a week for me to get feedback on. The problem I'm having is that time is running out, and I still don't have money to get through the month, I have money invested in the bank yet I can't access it.
FNB are not helping at all, and If I had known I'd have this much trouble with savings and Overdrafts I'd banked elsewhere. I still have no Overdraft.
