No international purchases - VISA Commercial

Hello,

I opened an FNB Business account last year and have not been able to purchase anything from overseas retailers with my VISA Commercial card. When I try, I get an sms informing me that I should increase the limits on my internet banking profile.

When I visited the branch the lady showed me where to change the limits so I set them much higher than necessary. This did not help.

Today I went back to the branch and was informed that international purchases are not allowed on VISA Business cards and that I should use my personal card instead. Reason being that it complicates things with the reserve bank. The lady confirmed this with some colleagues.

Due to the nature of my IT business I have to purchase software from overseas companies often so this makes the account unusable. I did not have this problem with my Nedbank VISA Business card.

I would appreciate a letter confirming the above in case SARS queries why I changed banks 3 times in one financial year.
