In December I went to the Bank to apply for an overdraft and was told by Samantha that my account is not yet 6 months old and assured me that if a waited and stayed with them she will sort it out in February and that I should get other credit at other places because she cant she a reason why it will be declined. I did get credit and currently paying high interest. I went again to the Bank on the 31st and was assisted by a really very bad consultant who showed no interest in what I was talking about. I went again today to the Bank and after being assured that there will be no problems and that I should get other credit I am now told by Samantha that she has to motivate this with credit. The reason for this is that my account went into a negative balance because according to Samantha the banks were experiencing problems in December. My account went into negative because the stuff I bought in December while on holiday on went thru in January and I was conducting my account in a professional manner making sure I only use what shows available from an SMS, ATM and the internet. Why is Standard Bank debiting me for stuff I spend in December a month later and then this affects my score
