On the 24th December 2013 I called Standard Bank call Center requesting them to activate a debit order payment of my Standard Bank Credit Card from the 31 December 2013 from my FNB Cheque account. Indeed, I was told that my request is done but debit order will run from the 1st of January 2014 and I did not have any problem about that..
On the 3rd of January 2014 in the morning just before 12:00, I received a call from Standard Bank requesting me to pay my Credit Card before 12:00 mid day on the 04th because I did not honor my promise.. I Couldn't understand because I expected a debit order to run on the 1st of January but for some odd reason I did not.. Immediately, I made an Online payment of R1000 with the assistance of Standard Bank Consultant over the phone and she confirmed my payment.
Yesterday, an amount of R 951.39 was debited from my FNB cheque account and It left me with a negative balance on my FNB account and now I am being dishonored for having a negative amount because of Standard Bank.. I called today several time for that amount to be reversed and unfortunately STANDARD is unable to do that and I don't know why..
I need a clarity about this..
