I closed my credit account with Standard Bank more than 8 months ago and I am still getting sms from them about interest that must be paid! I have called Standard Bank at least 3 times in the past and they did tell me that the interest was accumulating when it was not supposed to. What is so difficult about thoroughly closing an account? Standard Bank's inability to do such a simple task of closing an account highlights problems that have led me to close my accounts with them after more than 10 years of banking with them. Sort this mess out!!
