During December I applied for an overdraft as the consultant that sold me my cheque account in July said I could apply in 6 months. The application was done online and declined. January my car broke down. I travel 120km a day and need my car urgently so I applied for a loan or an overdraft. Both were declined. The first reason was due to my address being wrong. The staff at your Boulders branch that made me go back 3 times for my cheque account had the Rica documents. It was all handed in when I applied for my cheque account. The second reason is I have a reduction order on an overdraft facility - I DO NOT HAVE AN OVERDRAFT!! I am trying to get one. I also am being charge bank charges for an overdraft I don't have. I would have really let this go but I am in trouble and need help and can't work with a bank that charge and put weird stuff on my bank account. I am so disappointed in Standard Bank.
