It seems as if Nedbank has developed an inflated ego and customers like me are no longer desirable. When I first opened my accounts with the Hyde Park branch some 8 years ago I was impressed with the personalised levels of service. Now I call the branch and I'm told there are no managers or bankers to assist me and I get put through to the national call centre.
When I persisted and managed to speak to a private banker (Robin) I was told that I do not earn enough to warrant personalised service. The threshold at which I become a 'desirable' customer is 450k per annum. I only earn in excess of 400k per annum. So clearly I am and not worth Nedbank's time or effort.
Please convince me otherwise or FNB (who at least know what PayPal is) get all my business from this point forward.
