Today I am a very unhappy customer - Nedbank Walmer Park won't easily see me for business again. I have been banking with Nedbank for ages, I went into Nedbank Walmer Park today to pay a few of my bills, unfortunately I did not have a list of beneficiaries on hand. I asked the cashier to please assist by obtaining the relevant information from my profile - she apparently couldnt and asked another cashier to assist and her reply was 'if you cant do it, how can I do it'. I decided to just let them be and went to our Newton Park Branch.
What a suprise! A special thanks to Rika and Juanita I was assisted with a smile! It is just weird that one branch can be competent enough to actually be helpful, whilst another branch can just easily pull their shoulders up and say 'I can't assist you'. I would in future much rather take my business to Newton Park even though Walmer Park is much more convenient.
I sincerely hope Nedbank management gets their staff's attitude in order - jobs are scarce, do your job and deal with customers the way you would want to be treated.
