Nedbank service is absolutely shocking.

I am a primary banker with Nedbank and have been for the last 10 years.

When I first financed my car, Nedbank offered me the highest rate as compared to the other banks, I thought it was just normal as I had just started my working career. I now applied for a home loan and again they offered the highest rate even though they are my primary bankers.

I got quotes from other banks which was much lower than the rate Nedbank offered. When I mentioned this to Nedbank, they said they would appeal the rate and told me over the phone they would beat that rate.

The appeal took place on Monday, today is Thursday, and still no reply in written quotation. Other banks took a day, with max being 2 days.

Either Nedbank were lying to me about the appeal or were simply very delayed in the process. But either way I have told them to cancel the application and furthermore will close all accounts with them.

The sad part is that Nedbank are primary bankers yet they treated me like I was chip on the shoulder and lost out on potential business.
