I have 4 accounts with Nedbank with a mix of personal and business accounts. A while ago I received a phone call saying that I would get a personal banker. Never heard from them again, and no one could help me when I tried to find out. I run a small business and there is absolutely no support. At the Randburg (Kent Avenue) branch I applied for a debit order facility for our customers to pay us monthly and I had to constantly follow up. After 2 months this has still not been processed and I have not received 1 email nor phone call from this person and branch. The same experience we had at the Epsom Downs, now Nicolway, branch. Absolutely no small business support by Nedbank! We are now in the process of moving personal and business accounts to FNB. I hope many others will not make the same mistake by opening accounts with Nedbank, they rob you in the bright of day and offer no support.
