On 25 January, I was deducted R2900 on my Home Loan. R1667 is my normal monthly installment and in December 2012 I arranged to pay R2900 on my Home Loan, but in January 2013 I arranged with Standard Bank that the deductions be altered to R1667. This however did not happen and when I requested on 25/01/2013 for a refund of the R1233 extra that was paid on my Home Loan. I was told to wait 7 days for the money to Clear. Now 8 days (05/02/2013) as past and I had to Phone Standard bank and query the return on a 20 minute call, only to find out that I have to wait another 4 days for my refund to be processed. (Reference No. 51753609), This is totally unacceptable. I have accounts to pay and need this cash urgently. I cannot wait 12 days for my money to be returned to my account. The money was deducted within a second but now I must wait for my own money. Standard Bank is continuing to disappoint me, each and every month.
