Settlement of Standard bank home loan

I had my house in the market since January 2013, I notified standard bank per letter of my intention to sell the house. February I got a buyer and the process started. The 17th of May, the bond was settled with Standard bank.
For some reason the attorneys paid more than the settlement amount into the account and I phoned standard bank on the 21st of May to find out when I will be refunded for the money that was in credit on my home loan account. The lady informed me that they will refund me within 48Hours (which never happened). At the end of May, Standard Bank debited my account with the full monthly installment. I phoned them again and they told me that the debit order was already loaded on the system and could not be stoped.

I phoned them again today to find out when I will be refunded and now they are saying its gonna take another 6 -8 weeks to close the account and there's already R2000 missing from the amount that was in credit with them apparently admin fees and home insurance, and the person informed me that I will be liable for the insurance and admin fees until the bond is closed and only then will I be refunded.

This is totally unacceptable.
