New Cheque Account

I have been a FNB customer for years with my credit card. I opened a new Cheque account with them online and was told to go and collect my card a few days later. On arrival at the branch i was told i DID NOT need proof of residence because i was already a customer. I collected my new card and went on my way. I was then charged the monthly fee of R99 (for the last 2 months) which is fine that is the account charge. I deposited money (for use on a trip out of town) in the account as i understood it to be functioning. I then came to draw the money and the account is frozen!! I was told over the phone that the account is frozen because i didn't give proof of residence. I then take off work and go into the branch with this info and am told the account hold will be lifted in 30 mins. 24 hours later and the account is still frozen. This is Unacceptable i will not take off work again to resolve this anymore and i want this lifted immediately so i can access this account and the money in it.
