Lifesentence when you bank with Nedbank

Five years ago I moved from Nedbank to Absa. Haven't used my Nedbank accounts for 2 years. Headoffice phoned me 6 months back to inform me that they are closing my accounts. I went to the bank 3 months ago to formally go and close the accounts. After I waited for an hour, and people being helped that came after me, I left the bank. I lived in Postmasburg and worked nightduty at a hospital in Bloemfontein, meaning that I traveled back and forth every week and my time is limited.

l am back in Bloem fulltime now and got a message to say that the bank is going to hand me over to the lawayers and blacklist me. I paid the outstanding ammount and went to the bank last week to formally try and close the account. The following day I had to go in a second time to submit proof of residence for fica and was told it will take 3 days to complete. This week I got a notice from the bank to say that the proof of residence (water and
electricity account) is older than 3 months and I have to submit a new account. Could'nt they have said that when I was there the 3rd time?? Now I have to go in again, wait another 3 days and go back a 5th time.
Meanwhile I have to pay for every trip and parking.
