As per telephone conversation on the 14th of November 2013 with Tarryn Droomer, I was promissed that my outstanding optometry account will be settled the same day and that i will receive proof of payment shortly. I was also asked to remove my previous Hello Peter complaint. As stated in a letter signed by Nicolene Williams as follows "With regards to the Hello Peter complaint logged by your friend, would you be so kind as to switch the complaint to a compliment, we will provide you with the proof of payment shortly..."
As till today, I have not received any proof of payment as promised.
On Friday, the 10th of January, again I received a sms from Torga stating the following " Dear Patient. There is an outstanding amount of R830 on your account that you are liable for. Please come make this payment. Regards Torga Lifestyle 012 653 5059.
I expect that this matter will be handled with high priority and that this problem will be sorted out by this week friday the 17th of January 2014.
If by then, i have not received a proof of payment, I will report this matter to the ombudsmen and I will cancell my medical aid with essential med.
I await your response urgently.
